Chardonnay "Thirty Leaf" 2008
Fermented on French oak, aged with lees stirring, this wine has tropical fruit flavors with hints of sage and vanilla.  This wine exhibits the terroir which characterizes Stargazers Vineyard. PQA approved.

Solar Celebration Chardonnay 2008
100% sun, 0% oak. This wine allows you to smell and taste how special our site is for Chardonnay without the influence of oak.

A blend  of five white varieties, Italian in concept, with a Spanish name. Soft and spicy. The ideal sipping wine.

Cabernet Franc 2009
Has a bright color, an aroma reminiscent of violets, and refreshing bramble-berry flavors.  This Anjou-style wine accompanies a variety of light meat dishes.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Has a bold color, an aroma reminiscent of mocha and vanilla, and flavors of blackberries and currants.

Dornfelder 2011

Nouveau style, bottled in the year of harvest and released in November;  a light refreshing red with rich, red berry fruit and soft tannins.

Pinot Noir 2009
Stargazers has the characteristic color and flavors of the red wine of Burgundy - cherry and strawberry.

Tinto 
Three red vinifera varieties were fermented together with the addition of sugar and alcohol tolerant yeast to produce a wine of port-like strength.

Color obtained by brief skin contact, slightly sweet - Pink capsule. Fermented in the bottle.

The PQA Group introduced a quality assurance program in September 2003 as a means for increasing awareness of the quality of Pennsylvania grown-and-made vinifera wines. Since 2011 the focus of the Group has shifted toward education of its members as well as the wine growing community of PA and the surrounding states.

Our purposes are threefold:

To provide a forum for the exchange of information and experience among members. We believe such an exchange can improve the quality of our wines.

To make available to members of the Group enological expertise by securing the advice of consultants and organizing seminars exclusively for members.

To assist in organizing educational seminars offered to all winegrowers and winemakers.
